Make Your Own Fox or Wolf Doll – Sewing Class

Join me for a fun and exciting class for the fall, where we’ll be making an adorable Fox or Wolf using a pattern from Studio Seren. In this class, you’ll choose which animal you’d like to create and work through the process step-by-step, combining both machine and hand sewing techniques. We’ll focus on constructing the body, shaping and assembling the pieces, and attaching key features to bring your animal to life.

This project is a great way to build confidence with both sewing methods while also exploring how fabric choices can completely change the look and personality of your finished piece. Whether you go with a classic fox or a cozy wolf, each one turns out uniquely your own.

This class is designed for confident adult beginner sewists and is a fun, approachable way to continue building your skills in a supportive environment.

There will also be an additional follow-up class focused on making clothing for your fox or wolf, where you can take your project a step further and add even more personality and detail.

Before class, you’ll need to purchase the Fox and wolf sewing pattern directly from Studio Seren (link above). I’ll also share a complete supply list of tools, fabrics, and notions to bring along.

Whether you’re looking to learn something new or just want to spend a creative afternoon sewing, this class is a fun, relaxed way to make something special — and leave with a handmade fox or wolf full of charm and personality.

Registration is Required

Additional Supply List:

  • Sewing machine in good working order (one machine will be available for rent for $20 - must reserve in advance)
  • 50 wt polyester thread for construction
  • Fabric Scissors
  • Pinking Shears, optional

Class Cancellation Policy

I completely understand that life can get a little hectic sometimes! If something comes up and you can’t make it to class, here’s how I handle cancellations:

  • More than 72 hours before class: No problem at all — I’m happy to move your registration to a future session or issue a full refund.
  • Within 72 hours of class: Please let me know as soon as possible. If I can fill your spot, I’ll gladly reschedule you for another date or offer store credit for a future class.
  • No-shows without notice: Unfortunately, the class fee can’t be refunded or credited. I’ve already planned, prepped, and reserved your spot (kind of like a concert ticket!), so advance notice really helps me accommodate others.

If you’re unsure what applies to your situation, don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m always happy to talk it through and find a solution if possible.
